Bayworld Aquarium

We took our 20 month year old son, Finn, to visit the famous Bayworld aquarium on a windy day in PE. Thousands of children have passed through the doors of this ancient gem- and learned much about the oceans, many of them going on to pursue careers that involve the oceans in some way.

Wondrous

We were disappointed to see that the aquarium is closed. No-one seems to know if it will ever open again. Some people hate aquariums and animals in captivity so aquariums do not always appeal but …..

Dancing Light

There is little doubt though that this aquarium served its purpose well and millions of people over the years learned about sea-life that they would otherwise never see or know about. Some tanks have fish in them and we know some of the scientists working there so we had a look around…..some of them needed a clean but made for some good shots.
